Misc. Notes
1. Ship’s manifest from Ellis Island, Jan 1907 shows Franz (Frank) Bubenicek going to a cousin Sarah Naly (sp?) in Union Hill, NJ. He was traveling alone.
[482] He also shows up on a ship’s manifest at Ellis Island in June 1912, arriving from Buenos Aires, again traveling alone and listed as US Citizen going to his wife in Union Hill, NJ.
[484] And in June 1913 he is shown arriving alone from Bremen, Germany to Ellis Island and listed on the Ship’s Manifest of US Citizens. He is shown as being Naturalized in 1910 in Jersey City, NJ.
[485] The 1930 US Census shows immigration in 1904. The 1930 US Census also shows that Frank was age 44 at first marriage, but this cannot be true if Otto was born in 1910. I believe he might have been 44 when he married Betty.
