1. Daniel Biddlecome (Sr) of Vermont has had a direct influence on the careers and lives of his descendents down to my genereation. He was a veteran of the Battle of Bennington during the Revolutionary War. Listed as a mariner on his marriage record, his skills included that of surveying, logging, milling, mason, carpentry, as well as farmer. Daniel was the county surveyer of Bennington, and was also listed as a "yeoman". His holdings extended into New York state, where he had a mill.
