Misc. Notes
1. Her name is spelled: MADRA, Deunana in the Green County Marriage Book B, 1793-1836. [131]

2. I have found many different spellings of this name. Another is from the Thomas James SANDERS report sent to me by Karen COX Sanders, spelling the name as Demaris MADDRA. [127]

3. In an email from Martha PENICK Lamkin, 3 Nov 2003, she writes: “Elijah SANDERS (second child of Eastin SANDERS and Denarzzi MADDRA) and wife, Usiba COOK, named their daughter Frances Denarze SANDERS (b. 12 Aug 1856). Since they obviously named her in honor of Elijah's mother, and spelled the name the way it SOUNDED - - De nar' zee - - I feel that his mother's name must have been Denarzzi, which would sound the same way.
