Misc. Notes
1. From a taped interview with Bea Wakenshaw Nov 2001: “At Kitnacker’s Bakery, we had a cake made for grandma and grandpa Hill’s 50th wedding aniversary. And we carried that cake on our laps to Kentucky! It used to take us three days to get there (two nights), in the Model T Ford. On country roads, up and down hills and all that stuff. Through Indiana, and down to Kentucky.”
