Bea and Shad were members of the Blue Ridge Club on Lake Springfield. This is where grandpa kept his boat. This sign is at the entrance, and you can see the lake in the background. It was raining that day, and I was on my way home from my Illinois trip, but wanted to get a photo of the sign (Nov 2001).
