3. From the Democrat Message, 10 Jan 1923:“John Fink was born in Ohio March 18, 1857 and died at the home of his son Fred, east of Versailles, January 6, 1923 after an illness of nearly two years. Much of that time however he was able to be out and was only confined to his bed during the past few weeks. He is survived by three sons, Fred, Eugene and Calvin. Funeral services were held at Mt. Zion Monday afternoon conducted by H. Stuller and interment was in Little Creek Cemetery.”
