Norma B. Ivey, 93, of Lincoln, formerly of Virginia, died Sunday, Oct. 19, 2008, at St. Clara's Manor in Lincoln.
She was born Sept. 15, 1915, in Cass County, the daughter of Seth and Nora Thompson Williams. She married F. Dareld Ivey on Nov. 25, 1937; he preceded in death on June 16, 1989.
She is survived by a daughter, Barbara Reichert (husband, H. Gary) of Lincoln; two grandchildren, Heather Reichert of Carpentersville and Eric Reichert of Lincoln; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Wilma Bennett and Glenna Williams and two brothers, Ralph and Seth Eugene Williams.
Mrs. Ivey was employed at Trenter's Grocery and Virginia Locker Co. She was a member of Virginia United Methodist Church and a 60-year member of the Order of Eastern Star.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 25, 2008, at Buchanan and Cody Funeral Home in Virginia, with burial at Walnut Ridge Cemetery in Virginia. Friends may call at the funeral home from 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 25, 2008, until the time of services.
